Apple Works

I just want to start this one off by telling my husband "Thank You" for being our family photographer! You are truly amazing!

Today we went to Apple Works in Trafalgar, In.! It is a family tradition to go to the pumpkin patch and get our pumpkins every year and then bring them home to carve. This place was amazing! The had a petting zoo, play area, bamboo maze, pumpkin patch and a "hay yard" which was were the kids played in the hay. They also had a train that will take you for a ride and a hayride too.

Trent's favorite was anything but the animals and Taylor's was the animals I think:-) She gets so excited when she sees something she can pet! We will definately go back next year.

Taylor Turns 1!!

We had Taylor' s first birthday party on Sunday the 3rd even though her birthday was on Saturday. We had Dan's family come from Arkansas and my family came from Southern Indiana. Trent loved having everyone here! Taylor got so many nice things, and we had cake from Brenda's Bakery.......which was AMAZING!!!!

I took her for her 1 year appointment, which of course included shots;-(. She is slowing down on the growth charts. Well, I think that, but she grew so fast at first it seems slow now. She weighs 22lbs. and is 29 1/2 in. long! She is a huge daddy's girl and loves to be carried. This is the reason she is not walking yet. LOL! She spends most of her days playing with Trent, and this is another reason she is probably not walking. He is around her CONSTANTLY!!! I feel bad for her at times but he loves her so much! When he starts school next year, she will want to be with him and he will NOT want to be bothered by her.

I just can't figure out where the time went! Another year, here and gone! Good thing we have blogs and pictures, huh!!

Montgomery Farm

Every year since Trent was 1, my mom takes him to Montgomery Farms. It is a farm in Southern Indiana where she lives and they have a corn box, barn swing, pumpkin patch, corn maze, animals, and a playground. His favorite every year seems to be the corn box. This was Taylor's first year and she loves the animals and the corn box, however, she started eating the corn so that was short lived. She called all the animals dogs of course, and overall, we all had a very nice time. I did save my mom and myself a little embarrassment and leave out the pics of us swinging from the rope swing in the barn. LOL. Thanks for taking us mom!
