He thought he was such a big guy because he got his own gatorade bottle. It was so stinkin' cute. I told me before we left that I could not clap big, just little, and he kept a check on me the whole time too.

First Soccer Practice
We went to Trent's first soccer practice tonight! Oh I was such a proud momma!!! He did block a ball from going in, and only knocked down kids 2 times! LOL. GOOD NEWS.... the other kids are a bit more rough so it was all okay. LOL.

GREEN THUMB!!
When we moved into our new house in the Spring, we started to spend alot of time at Lowes! And when you take Trent into ANY store, he "needs" something. So on this trip he needed a sunflower kit. I thought to myself, "what a waste of money this is. We will go home, plant these seeds and he will forget about them." WRONG!!!!!! He was so excited so we went straight home and planted them. It took a while for anything to happen and to be honest I didn't take pictures of the progress because I didn't think they would make it! So, every day, Trent would look at the seeds and we would talk to them, and finally we were able to plant them in the ground. Well, exactly 3 months and 5 days later.............
we got a bloom!!! We went to stay with my mom for the weekend, and came home and they are all in full bloom. So, way to go TRENT!!!!

9 Months
I took Taylor for her 9 month appt. and she is growing fine!! They said she looks very strong and right on track! She weighed 20 lbs and 10 oz. and she is 27 inches long. She wants to eat everything now that we eat so it is getting to be easier.
There have been alot of milestones these last few weeks for her! She is saying mama, dada, and I swear I heard her say breakfast!! LOL! Not really but the noise she made sounded like it;-) She is crawling super fast, getting into all the cabinets, and pulling up on everything! I run behind her and sit her down. haha. I am not ready for her to walk yet, thank goodness I know she has a while to go for that.

4th of July
This was Taylor's first Fourth of July! We had a cookout and she LOVED the pasta salad and bread!! Trent and I also made chocolate covered graham crackers, marshmallows, and strawberries. It made for the perfect snack while watching the fireworks. We were going to go to a local park and watch, but decided to stay home because our neighbor was having a show. They lasted well over an hour. The guy definitely spent some money. Trent even got tired and asked to go to bed. LOL! Taylor of course slept through the whole thing. Thought we would share a few pics of the day!

It's been a while.....
Hello everyone!! It has been a while since I have posted a blog about the kids so I thought it was time. As most of you know we have moved into a new house! We absolutely LOVE it and we are having ALOT of fun making it our home. So much to do though. Dan is in the process of painting and getting things fixed up and I am having lots of fun picking out colors and decorations. (Or not) I have such a hard time making decisions.
Also more new news it that Dan just started a new job! He is a maintenance control supervisor now and he is loving his job. Although, he says the 5 day work weeks are getting to him. haha! The kids and I have been having lots of fun this summer. We have been doing alot with the moms group from our old neighborhood so that keeps us busy.
We joined a local recreation center and they have a really cool water park outside and a small one inside as well. We took the kids a couple weeks ago and Trent had a blast! I decided I should get some pictures of him playing. Well, he yelled for me, I turn around, and SPLASH!!! right in the face (while taking a pic). So I thought the camera was done, but it finally dried out works (almost 100%). We may have to send it in to be cleaned though.
I am just gonna share a few pics from the month of June. We took Trent to a meet and greet with some of the PBS characters, well, he looked and that was it. He did not want to give hugs or shake hands. The lines were really long and it was SOOO hot there, so we looked and basically left. He did enjoy a few bounce houses and some ice cream as we left.
I bought a kiddie pool just for him to splash in and if course Taylor loves it too. Good way to stay cool though. And this last week we went to the fire department and took a tour. Trent got to check out the trucks and the ambulance, and of course was shy at first and then was all over them.
