Toy Story 3 "On Ice"

Well, imagine, another day full of snow in Indy! Oh well, we made the best of it. Dan was off today and we decided to take the kid's to see Toy Story 3 on ice. It is going on at Conseco Fieldhouse, which is where the Pacer's play. I thought we were gonna have our hands full with Taylor. But she surprised me!! She sat and watched almost the whole show and about 30 minutes to go she got restless. Which I think sitting for an hour and a half was fabulous! Anyway, Trent loved it, and Dan even said he would recommend it! So you know it must have been good. I am just glad all 4 of us got to go:-)

Cousin Hailey

This week we took a few days to come to Arkansas to meet baby Hailey! They made the trip all the way from Arizona. She is so adorable! Trent of course loves his little cousin, and Taylor tries to love ON her! LOL. It is so nice for them all to be together. It is also really nice to see Dave and Sarah, but as we all know, when you have kids the babies take the show!!

Girls Essentials

I took Taylor for her 15 month well check on the 4th. She weighed 24 lbs and she is 31 inches long! I was a little sad when they said she was in the 70-80th percentile for kids her age. I am just so used to Trent being in the 90th! Dan had an excellent point...."Kala, its not cool tp be the Big girl!" LOL!!

But on a lighter note....no pun intinded....she is really starting to say so many words. Her new thing she does is "SSSHHHHH" and puts her hands to her mouth. It all just happens so fast. She got a purse from my mom, and bracelets, for christmas. She carries it around ALL THE TIME!! Most of the time, with all the bracelets, you will find a handful of army men. I don't know what it is about those things but she loves them.

GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Santa Found Us!

This was our first year making a gingerbread house. It turned out pretty nice if I should say so myself. Trent was super excited. It will be another Christmas tradition I am sure. I had better start writing all this stuff down so I remember all of it next year. Something tells me a certain little boy won't let me forget though:-)

Dan had to work Christmas morning so Santa actually came to our house Christmas night. Which wasn't a huge deal this year, because we just told Trent it was really Christmas Eve. LOL! And we celebrated Christmas Day the day after. Both kids were super excited. Taylor was more into Trent's pile of toys! She really wasn't interested in opening any presents this year. She kind of just wanted to walk around and to check out everybody else. She is a people person, what can I say. Trent did get a RAZOR scooter like the neighbor boy has, so now he thinks he is really big! He is still riding it in the house, which has to come to an end soon because I am tired of watching out for dear life. We almost need a pedestrian crossing in the kitchen. He can really get around good on it!

I have tried taking Christmas stuff down several times, but it is kind of like a memorial service for Trent. He hates to see it all go. I will have to say that it is coming down tonight and this is the LONGEST I have ever kept it all out. I am ready to get back to normal life. LOL
