Happy Easter

The Easter bunny found us! The Easter bunny left his usual track of eggs to the baskets. Trent was up at 6:30, which was fine with me since I woke up at 6;-) He wanted to rush downstairs to see what was here! I had to wake Taylor up at 9:30!! She is such a good sleeper. The bunny was successful once again making the Stone babies happy.

All I wanted was ONE good picture of them together, but since I wanted that SO bad, it was unsuccessful. Dan did get some really sweet ones of them playing though. I have big hopes for the upcoming photo shoot that will be taking place in the next week or so........if it ever stops raining.

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!

Hunting!

Today...Easter egg hunt! We went to our local park and they had it set up into 4 age groups. Which was nice. Dan had to work so I was a little worried about getting them to the right spots, but they started at different times. So it worked out perfectly! Taylor really could have cared less, until, she realized there were chocolate kisses in the eggs. She did get a few, and that is all she really needed! Ha! Trent was super excited! He kept asking how many he could get, and I told him however many he wanted, he was so excited he was shaking! He ran around so fast he just didn't know which ones to get! LOL!!

Getting Messy

Not much going on this week. Just a few things the kids worked on;-) Trent has been wanting to either paint or play with play-doh all week, so Taylor did too. She only ate a few pieces, and her body still seems to be working fine at this point. Lot's of messes! But she loved it as well. I did go pick up Trent's registration packet for kindergarten and filled it out. I am preparing myself for May 13th. That is when I will take him back for a very small assessment test.

We are getting ready for Easter by decorating our eggs today, hopefully going to an egg hunt tomorrow, and dinner at nana and papaws on Sunday! (Taylor was not involved in the egg decorating due to the fact she LOVES to throw things.......ANYTHING) Trent was super excited when he pulled some of the eggs out of the colors to see that "magically" it had our names on them.

TAYLOR!!!!! Well, I did babysit on Thursday and I turned my back while fixing breakfast, Taylor decided to see just what was in that bowl. And let me tell you....raw eggs are not fun getting up off the floor. I had to laugh because by the time Lili and Ella left, Ella was calling Taylor by her first and middle name since that is how I had to address her all day!

Hope everyone has a fabulous EASTER!!!

Taylor's 18 month's

Well...where do I begin? Taylor is 18 month's old now! She has 12 teeth, she is running all over the place, still learning to jump, is talking so much, and did I mention.....into everything! She loves to wear necklaces, bracelets, and anyones shoes. She copies everything you do and say. She loves playing with others, and loves babies (or maybe just the fact that they have a baba and she doesn't). I took her for her 18 mo. well check today and she is right where she needs to be. She weighs 25 pounds, and is 33 inches tall. Of course she didn't like to looked at by the doc and she cried, and told the doctor "NO" and to "STOP". Let's hope she gets better with this and I don't have to lasso her like we do her brother. She also had a follow-up from her ear infection. It is gone of course with a round of antibiotics. This was her first ear infection and her first antibiotics so I think we are pretty lucky at this point.

Kite Flyin' Kinda Day

The wind has been crazy here this week. Not that I am complaining because it has been beautiful weather. Trent got a kite a few weeks ago and has been wanting to fly it since. So this week, was perfect.

April Fool's Day

We stayed home this year for April Fool's Day. Trent and I built some things with lego's, lincoln logs and also put together his marble works that Santa brought. I love it when I can devote Taylor's whole nap time to him, it really gives me a chance to see how big he really is!! We spent most of the day playing little tricks on each other, and at lunch, Taylor bit a hole right in the center of her bologna! Trent loved it!!! He said she played a really good trick! I know, it doesn't take too much to entertain us. We decided that we would tape some quarters to the washer so when daddy came in the garage door, he would try and pick them up. It worked, Trent loved it! He also had the idea to put a toy mushroom on the dinner plate for him, since he doesn't like them. That one didn't go as expected when Dan just "ate" it. I think Trent was looking for more excited from it. LOL!!
