Oh MYYY!!!
Let's just say today was a big day! Green pancakes, parade, and lots of playing outside. This morning I wanted to do something fun for breakfast so I made green pancakes. Trent was so excited and then when it came time to eat them, not so much. But that is no surprise with him.
After breakfast we hurried off, with daddy, to meet up with some friends for the St. Patrick's Day parade downtown. We went last year and Trent loved it. We met a few friends downtown which made him super happy! Taylor really enjoyed the parade too! She would just wave at the people and she would laugh when she saw something funny. 100% girl! We sat at a place that a grassy area behind us so the kids got to run around a for while and then had a little lunch before it started. They got lots of candy and beads!
Once we got home, of course we had to play outside since it was so nice warm. Two things about Trent this afternoon that he was sooooo excited about, 1) He opened his own cheese. Which many of you are thinking "big deal", but this is progress! There are alot of things Trent can do, but refuses because he is afraid it is gonna mess up! Like for example, take the clear rapper off the cheese because he ends up ripping it, then it's a major meltdown. Or even tearing the cheese apart in a lunchable because he tears a little piece because they are all stuck together. 2) He walked himself to the swing, and started swinging himself and kept himself going, for like an HOUR!!! He has known that if he pumps his legs that he will keep going for 2 years now, but what is the fun if mom will do it for you right. Anyway, he was very proud of himself and that's all that counts.
